Optimize images for your website

Oversized images are the most common reason pages load slowly. Resize to the width your layout actually uses and save as WebP to cut file size dramatically.

    Why WebP

WebP files are typically 25–35% smaller than JPG at the same visual quality, and every modern browser supports them. Smaller images improve Largest Contentful Paint (LCP), one of Google's Core Web Vitals, which affects both rankings and conversions.

    Frequently asked questions

Does WordPress / Shopify accept WebP?

Yes. WordPress (since 5.8) and Shopify both accept WebP uploads.

    Are my photos uploaded anywhere?

No. Pixverter processes every image inside your browser, on your own device. Nothing is sent to a server, so it is safe for personal photos and documents.

Should I still keep JPG versions?

Not for modern browsers. If your platform must support very old software, choose JPG output instead; the resize still saves most of the weight.
