How to convert iPhone photos to JPG

    1. On iPhone: tap the box above and choose "Photo Library" or "Choose File". On a computer: drag the photos in.
    2. Keep "JPG" as the output format.
    3. Tap Download for each photo (or download all as a ZIP with Pro).

Why your iPhone photos are HEIC

Since iOS 11, the iPhone camera uses the "High Efficiency" setting, which stores photos as HEIC. The files are about half the size of JPG at similar quality, which saves storage, but they are a headache when you need to upload a photo to a website, send it to someone on Windows or Android, or attach it to a form.

    Frequently asked questions

Can I convert directly on my iPhone?

Yes. Open this page in Safari on your iPhone, tap the box and select photos from your library. The conversion runs on the phone itself.

    Are my photos uploaded anywhere?

No. Pixverter processes every image inside your browser, on your own device. Nothing is sent to a server, so it is safe for personal photos and documents.

    Does converting reduce quality?

At the default settings the difference is not visible. JPG files will be somewhat larger than the original HEIC.

    What about Live Photos?

A Live Photo is a still HEIC image plus a short video. Pixverter converts the still image to JPG.
